Aquileia, inscribed on Unesco World Heritage List, was one of the largest and wealthiest cities of the Roman Empire. Nowadays it is one of the main archaeological sites in Italy and offers many art treasures, such as the exceptional mosaic pavement of the outstanding Patriarchal Basilica.

Grado, surrounded by an amazing lagoon environment, is also known as the “Island of the Sun”. It has always been awarded the Blue Flag for the excellent quality of its sea and beaches. This quiet and welcoming seaside resort offers a picturesque historic centre with plenty of shops, modern bars, typical restaurants. The town centre is almost exclusively closed to vehicular traffic.

Trieste with its Habsburg charm and the marvellous Miramare Castle, Udine and the Venetian architecture, Pordenone with its sixteenth-century palaces,Cividale withit smaster pieces and Gorizia with its Central European elegance are unusual destinations, rich in atmosphere, art, history and culture.
